Soft, enveloping notes of milk chocolate intertwine with fruity hints, defining the smooth, organic character of FAF.
All coffee from Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF) is grown at around 1,000 metres above sea level, in full respect of natural cycles and biodiversity. At the farm, two specialised laboratories develop organic treatments based on microorganisms, eliminating the use of chemical substances. This know-how is shared by FAF with a network of local small producers. The harvest, processed using the natural method, delivers in the cup the excellence of an agricultural approach that protects both the soil and pollinators.
Located in Brazil’s Mogiana region, Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF) was born from the pioneering vision of Silvia Barreto and is now led by her son, Felipe Croce. Today, the estate is recognised worldwide as a benchmark for sustainability, having transformed a traditional operation into a forward-looking model for organic production and agroforestry systems.
