Secret blend

I am Enrico from “Le Piantagioni del Caffè” and in this video I want to talk about the secrecy of the blends.

Until a few years ago, everyone claimed that blends should be secret but I think that today it is an antiquated concept.
Actually the higher the secrecy, the more we are led to believe that something is being hidden from the consumer. The final result of the blend depends on many factors, not only on the type of coffee but also on percentages, roasts, and controls.
Therefore secrecy is a marginal thing!
To give an example on the issue of the factors that determine the blend quality, I can tell you that even if we use what is considered high-quality coffee, we can never be sure that the final product is as good as its components.
